Real, true, intimate, inspiring! The program of the 11th ShowUS! Documentary Film Festival presents only the most valuable stories about real people. Watch exclusively online from June 1st to 30th on the COOL PLAY platform.
9 documentaries from the USA and Russia are united by the theme of the human genius in all its manifestations. Should it be a talent showed from a young age, like like incase of the culinary wunderkind Chef Flynn, who opened his first restaurant at the age of 16. Or should it be the revealed potential of the world's best athletes in the film In Search of Greatness. Or the belief in justice of the heroines of the film Balancing the Scales, about women lawyers reforming the world of law in the United States. Or a strong bond with children, which we encrypt in dolls (Tiny Shoulders, Rethinking Barbie) or maintain even in difficult situations (Tre Maison Dasan).
The festival also presents 4 winning films from the first national documentary competition ShowRUS! held in 2020-2021 together with the Moscow School of Cinema:
