Tindersticks are an English alternative rock band formed in Nottingham in 1991, and they immediately became the stars of the so-called chamber pop: good slow music that appealed to fans of Leonard Cohen, Scott Walker, Nick Cave and other irresistible baritones.
For a quarter of a century, Tindersticks have released ten studio albums and also have written original score for most of the films by Claire Denis (including the recent
High Life). Next in line is the 11th record
No Treasure But Hope and following large-scale European tour.
The first Moscow Tindersticks concert took place 18 years ago and was crowned with a great triumph, and there is no reason to believe that this time it will be different.
