Bratislava, 1980. Friends Michal and Yuri enter the seminary with the intention of becoming clergymen. The young men face a split within the school between supporters and opponents of the regime, and find themselves on different sides of the barricades. Now each of them must decide which side to choose and how far each of them is willing to go in a deal with his conscience.
