"Lina" is an intimate story about young people in crisis. A cool, detached camera observes the protagonists' emotions, their turmoil, and their doubts.
Feeling lonely and lost, the heroine plans to make a film and begins casting. She constantly hears strange noises in her apartment and grows excessively close to the actors, projecting onto them the traits of other, significant people in her life.
Built largely on monologues, the film gradually reveals what happens to a person in crisis.
"Lina" is an autobiographical film about the search for warmth, about loneliness, and the fear of new encounters that sometimes only make things worse. Vulnerable and craving to be noticed, the characters nevertheless believe that a way out of the crisis is close at hand.
