Владимир Битоков

Born in 1985 in Naltchik, the capital of the Autonomous Republic of Kabardino-Balkarie, in the North Caucasus, Vladimir Bitokov graduated from the Faculty of Philology (English-language section) of the State University of Kabardino-Balkarie. In 2011, he joined Alexander Sokourov's film workshop in Kabardino-Balkarie within that university in Naltchik, founded and led by filmmaker Alexandre Sokourov since 2010, where he is organizing a master's degree in film and television. Bitokov then began working as a director in the Russian media group VGTRK.
