Director, Writer, Art and Film Critic
Born in Moscow. Graduated from the Art History Department of the Faculty of History of Moscow State University.
Author for the Film Art Magazine, Expert, Empire, etc. In 2006 worked as an editor and screenwriter at the documentary studio "Vertov. Real Cinema". 2007-2008 led the film club "Kino-strelka" in the cultural center "ARTstrelka".
In 2013 she graduated from the Marina Razbezhkina and Mikhail Ugarov School of Documentary Film and Theatre.Her graduating documentary, 21 Days, was shown in the main competition of Kinotavr Film Festival and took part in many Russian and international festivals. Her short film New Moscow won the Jury Diploma for the Search at Kinotavr Film Festival.

Tamara Dondurey's feature-length feature debut Stand By Me was premiered in the Bright Future program of the Rotterdam Festival (IFFR) 2022.
