Born in Moscow. Graduated from the Vladimir I. Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Art Theatre School at the Gorky Moscow Art Theatre. Worked in Moscow theatres since 1974.
From 1996, coordinator of projects for the "KINO" Gallery and the Polina Lobachevskaya Gallery.
Participated in the creation of the Anatoly Zverev Museum (Museum AZ). Currently — Chief Curator of the Museum AZ, curator of the museum's exhibition and publishing projects.
