Many-time winner of film awards, such as: The Russian National Film Award NIKA, The Russian Academy of Television Award TEFI, The Golden Eagle Award by the National Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences of Russia.

 

Was a jury member of many film festivals. In 2016 Alexander Rodnyansky was invited to the Juryof the Caméra d'Or program of the Cannes Film Festival. In June 2016 he became the member of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
