Director, photographer

Director, filmmaker and photographer, Carlotta Cerquetti studied photography in Rome while graduating in classical studies. Following, she moved to New York and became assistant to fashion photographer Hiro (Yasuhiro Wakabayashi). After a few years as freelance photographer, she studied cinema at New York University. Since then, she wrote and directed short films and documentaries, many of which won international awards. In 2015, her documentary "Harry's Bar" won the Open prize at Venice Days.
