VI Festival of films about art
An annual festival of films about art, founded in 2017 by Inna Bazhenova, publisher of the international network The Art Newspaper, collector and founder of the In Artibus foundation. The Art Newspaper Russia is part of the most competent information network in the world in the field of art, the only international media in Russia dedicated to art.
The festival program includes new feature and documentary films about art - winners and participants of the Cannes Film Festival, Berlin International Film Festival, Sundance, TriBeCa, MIFF and others.
The Festival venues host daily film screenings, meetings with directors and producers, and public talks with famous film and art critics.
In 2023, the Festival includes a special program “GES-2” dedicated to outsider art, ncluding classic and rare films about artists who were underestimated during their lifetime and created their works outside the framework of classical art institutions and the art market. And now they not only received posthumous recognition, but also became the heroes of features and documentaries by famous directors .
