Born in 1977, Tokyo.
The playwright, screenwriter, theater and film director, head of his own theater company.

Winner of the TAMA Film Award, Mishima Yukio Prize, nominant of the Akutagawa Prize.

Studied literature at the University of Wako (Tokyo) and, at the age of 19, founded the Gotanda-dan Theater. New stage gained recognition of the metropolitan public quickly thanks to the plays by Maeda. They are dedicated to the lives of his peers - representatives of the «generation of wealth, not burdened with the search for the life purpose».
